Slab 7 Music Group's Audio Engineering Education Program is designed to offer kids and teens training in audio engineering. Not only will they get hands on experience, once they reach a certain level,  but they will also enhance their reading, writing and math skills. It will be fun learning. At the moment we do not have the capacity to take on large classes due to Covid-19, but we are holding one on one sessions in person and via Zoom. Below are some of the skills they will learn.

*  What equipment is needed and how to use it.

*  Building a home Recording Studio.

*  Properly setting up for a recording session.

*  Recording, editing, mixing and mastering a song.

*  Registering and Copywriting songs.

*  What a Performing Rights Organization is. (PRO)

*  How to release a song / project.

*  Trademarking, Marketing, Publishing and Promoting.

*  Music Contracts.

*  Music Leasing and Licensing. 

*  They will also have a chance to talk to some artists,                      producers and DJ's that are still active and successful in

    music. Plus more!

Even though this program will take them in depth. this will be fun and very educational for them. As a bonus they will have a chance at shooting a real music video.
